The Vegan Grocery Store is the first all-vegan grocery store in the Buffalo-Niagara Region - serving the community since 2018! We started this business to fill a void in our local vegan community. Before us, a person living a vegan lifestyle would have to go to multiple grocery stores to get everything they need; and even after going to all of these different stores, there would still be things on the internet that could never be found in-store locally. We are known for having the best vegan products and plenty of them! We constantly support other small, local businesses too by retailing their products. We are always told by our customers that we have products that they never see anywhere else. Our mission is two-fold here, though. Yes, we make the vegan community stronger but we also make our cities community stronger. We purposely opened on Oliver Street, which has been a neglected business district for decades. We revitalized the building and brought our block back to life. As owners, we are constantly volunteering in our community through street clean ups, snow blowing for the elderly in our neighborhood, and hosting community events that tie in veganism to help make it mainstream!
